Earthquakes are going to Sunset beach,following from a tsunami.At this time Cole,Francesca,his past lover,Caitlin and some other people are trapped on the Neptune ship.Their radio is broken and Cole's trying to repair it and suddenly hears a message that a tsunami is approaching the ship.Water comes into the ballroom,where are the most of the passengers.The captain and some of the most important crew are dead.Ricardo and an officer separate the people in two groups.Cole and Caitlin joins Ricardo's group.Everything is in water and the ship is sinking,so they need to go up and get out of it.But suddenly Phillipp gets a gun and tryes to kill Cole,but Francesca goes in front of him,she saves him,but is shotted in the shoulder by Phillipp.He dies after Cole tryes to take the gun from him.Cole helps Francesca to follow them and they goes after Ricardo and Sean,Caitlin's brother.They need to climb on a "leader",made from some brackets.Cole helps Antonio to go up,but one of the brackets broke.Antonio succeed to get up and Cole was last to climb.But it happened too hot from the steam around the "leader" and unable to keep his grip on the brackets, Cole falls through the shaft and disappears into the water.Caitlin tryes to dive into the water and search for him,but Antonio stopped her.Gregory and AJ helps each other and go to the ship with a helicopter to rescue the crew and passengers.They found them and the people,trapped in the boat,go into the helicopter,but not Cole.Caitlin wants to search him,looking out from the helicopter,but Gregory tryes to dissuade her,because there won't be enough fuel to come back to Sunset.Suddenly Caitlin sees Cole's body.AJ dives into the water and helps Cole to go into the helicopter,but Cole isn't breaving.Caitlin saves his life,bringing him back to life.Cole survives and everybody come back to Sunset beach.

Cole,Olivia and Caitlin accidentally in bed...
Olivia wasn't feeling ok,so she got asleep into Caitlin's bed.While Caitlin was talking to her father,Gregory,Cole sneaked into her room from the opened window.After he saw Olivia,he thought that this is Caitlin,he got naked,went into the bed and kissed her.But after hearted Olivia's voice and saw her face,he knew his mistake.But suddenly Caitlin opened the door.Cole hided fast Olivia behind the bed.Caitlin came into the room and after seeng Cole there,asked him what he is doing here.Cole explained that he came to see her.She went in the bed,getting out her dress,while her mom was thinking how to escape.But at this time Gregory went into the room to see how's Olivia!Surprised Catlin pushed Cole behind the bed and he accidentally was at the same place with her lover's mom.Caitlin succeed to get out of the room her father and got back into her bed with Cole!They went under the blanket and Olivia escaped,while Cole was kissing her daughter!

Cole and Caitlin meet and are instantly attracted to one another.They meet in the Grotto and Caitlin notices Cole's resemblance to Armando Deschanel for the first time. Gregory becomes jealous of Caitlin's relationship with Cole.Elaine is shocked at his resemblance to Armando when she sees Cole for the first time.Caitlin and Cole kiss for the first time. After meeting Cole, Gregory's malice towards him begins.Gregory finds out that Cole is a jewel thief and he forbids Caitlin to see him again.Gregory tells Tim to keep tabs on Caitlin.Cole gives in to Gregory's blackmail and breaks up with Caitlin.Caitlin returns home and cries on her father's shoulder.When she goes down to the beach to be alone, Gregory sends Tim after her.Tim catches up to Caitlin in the grotto, and she tells him how Cole broke her heart.After Tim and Caitlin leave the grotto, Olivia arrives, champagne bottle in hand, commenting that it looks just like she remembered.Olivia and Cole are intimate.When Olivia runs into Cole at Elaine's Waffle Shop, Cole pretends that he doesn't know her.Cole is caught by Olivia while searching Gregory and Olivia's bedroom for the Deschanel jewels.Cole notices Olivia's necklace.In an effort to get his hands on the necklace, he seduces Olivia again.They are nearly caught by Caitlin.Elaine sees Cole for the first time and feels compelled to ask him about his family.Elaine is surprised to discover that she and Cole share an interest in the Deschanel family -- especially the Deschanel jewels.Olivia is curious when Elaine tells her about Cole's interest in the Deschanel jewels.Olivia and Cole have another rendezvous at the Seabreeze Motel -- when Cole comes into the room, Olivia's wearing a nightgown and diamonds.When Bette finds out about Cole and Olivia's affair, she points out to Olivia that Cole is Elaine's son, whom Elaine thought had died in infancy, and threatens to go to Elaine and tell her.Cole and Caitlin reunite and are nearly discovered together by Olivia.Cole tells a sympathetic Elaine that his mother abandoned him in the hospital when he was born.
Olivia and Bette discuss their role in Cole's kidnapping, both explaining that they didn't know that Del was going to kidnap Cole.Elaine tells Caitlin about her brief romance with AJ Deschanel.Cole realizes that Olivia is Caitlin's mother.Olivia tells Bette that she nearly told Cole that he was Elaine's son, but that they had been interrupted by Caitlin.
Olivia says that the last thing she needs is for her daughter to catch her in her room with a strange man.Caitlin and Cole meet at the Grotto, and Cole assures Caitlin that there is no other woman.When Olivia makes another attempt to tell Cole, he first denies being AJ Deschanel's son, then he tells her that she won't be able to recapture her romance with AJ with him.Cole asks Caitlin to run away with him.Cole tells Caitlin that he's a Deschanel.Caitlin agrees to run away with Cole, and they make love in the grotto.Cole is injured in the process of attempting to steal the Deschanel jewels from Ben's office.Annie tells Bette and Eddie that someone had tried to steal the Deschanel jewels.When Ben overhears Annie and Eddie discussing their deal to split the Deschanel jewels, he calls Ricardo to tell him where Eddie is.Tim tries to convince Meg that Ben is bad for her.While tending Cole's wounds, Caitlin tells him that she knows that he tried to steal the Deschanel jewels from Ben.Cole tells her that he needs the jewels to put his family back together again.Caitlin runs away with Cole and Gregory calls the police and tells them that Cole has kidnapped Caitlin.When she finds out about the kidnapping charges, Paula defends her brother.Later, Gregory adds assault and battery to his charges against Cole.When Paula breaks the news to Elaine, Elaine says that Caitlin and Cole ran away together.Gregory and Olivia argue about what's best for Caitlin.Ricardo asks Gregory and Olivia if Caitlin and Cole ran off together.Gregory denies it, but Olivia gives him Caitlin's goodbye letter.
Cole promises to come back for Caitlin.Paula finds Cole and tries to convince him to come home.Ricardo tells Gregory that they aren't going to go forward on the kidnapping charges, but Gregory insists on pressing assault and battery charges.He then gives Ricardo his dossier on Cole's jewel theft background.Paula tells Cole how much Elaine missed him when she'd thought he'd died.Cole tells her that he can't stay, because he needs some answers.Elaine is thrilled that Cole got away.Cole leaves Sunset Beach, not knowing that Cait is hidden in the back seat of his rental car.
Gregory tells Olivia that he cut off Caitlin's credit cards to force her to come home.Gregory tells Elaine that even if he doesn't press charges against Cole for kidnapping, there are still the assault and battery charges and the suspicions that he is a jewel thief.Elaine doesn't believe that Cole could be a jewel thief.Elaine says that she doesn't think that Del could have pulled off the kidnapping himself and asks Olivia if she saw anything unusual the night Cole was kidnapped.Cole's grandmother, Julianna, tells Cole that she had him kidnapped to fill the void left when AJ disappeared.She tells him that she sent him to Sunset Beach, not to recover the Deschanel jewels, but to be reunited with his mother.Cole decides that he has to return to Sunset Beach to help Elaine.Cole returns to Sunset Beach to testify, but Elaine tells him that she doesn't want him to speak on her behalf at her trial.Gregory has Cole arrested on assault charges and Cole blackmails Olivia into convincing Gregory to drop the charges.Gregory drops the charges against Cole.Agents from Interpol arrest Cole.Gregory has the Interpol agents release Cole.Since Bette suggested that she might be pregnant, Olivia takes a home pregnancy test.Olivia's pregnancy test comes out positive.While waiting for Tyus, Olivia has a daydream about the father of her baby.Tyus says that it will be a couple of hours before they have the pregnancy test results and that they will call her.She asks if she can call them, instead.Caitlin tells Olivia that she and Cole have decided not to leave town, and that they're going to live in the room above the waffle shop.Olivia calls Tyus, but he can't come to the phone, so she leaves a message for him to call back.Gregory thinks that Caitlin is pregnant, referring to that prospect as a "disaster."When Tyus's office calls back, Gregory answers the phone.Cole decides to move into the apartment above the Waffle shop.Olivia decides that she can't take the chance of having Cole's baby and that she has to terminate her pregnancy.Caitlin finds out that Olivia's pregnant -- and planning to terminate her pregnancy.Caitlin asks Olivia if the reason she wants to terminate her pregnancy is because Gregory isn't the father. Gregory rushes to the hospital when he discovers that's where Olivia is.Olivia has another nightmare about her baby's paternity.She's talking in her sleep when Gregory arrives with breakfast.Gregory tells Olivia that Alex is dying and says that she and their children are the most important thing in his life.When Cait asks why she doesn't tell Gregory, Olivia says that she's afraid that Gregory would leave her.Olivia assures Caitlin that she really has stopped drinking.Ricardo calls Olivia to tell her that she would be receiving the Deschanel jewels that night.Olivia tells Bette that she may yet decide to terminate her pregnancy, if the baby turns out to be Cole's.Olivia asks Tyus to do a paternity test.Gregory arranges for a getaway for him and Olivia.Tyus tells Olivia that he's worried about her health, and that she shouldn't travel just then.Caitlin, having asked to experience danger, gets a cryptic taped message from Cole.The tape from Cole tells Caitlin to dress in her nicest dress and follow a map.Per Cole's instructions, Caitlin sneaks into the back room of the Deep, where Cole has a romantic dinner set up.Caitlin asks Cole how he could have given up jewel theft for her.He assures her that a life of crime isn't as glamorous as it's portrayed and that she threw him for a loop when he fell for her.Despite all this, she decides that she would like to try her hand at jewel theft.Caitlin won't let go of the idea that jewel thievery is wonderful, and she begs Cole for a chance to steal something.Fearing that Gregory would throw her out if he knew about her pregnancy, Olivia is thankful for the Deschanel jewels.Cole sets up a situation where Caitlin has to steal a briefcase from under Gregory and Olivia's bed, not noticing that Gregory and Olivia have put the jewels in an almost-identical briefcase under their bed.Caitlin successfully brings the briefcase out from Gregory and Olivia's house.Gregory puts the other briefcase into the safe.When she and Cole open it, the real Deschanel jewels are inside it.Caitlin tries to tempt Cole into keeping the jewels.Cole tells Caitlin that he wishes he could throw the jewels into the ocean, saying that he hates the jewels because Del got them by selling Cole to his grandmother.Annie tries to make a deal with Olivia.Caitlin offers to distract her parents while Cole returns the jewels.Gregory tells Annie that if she goes public with her story, the Deschanels will get the jewels back and they'll all lose them.Caitlin returns home to find Gregory, Olivia and Annie arguing about the jewels.In the middle of the argument, Gregory tells Olivia that he's flying her to Spain for a vacation.Olivia tells Gregory that she can't fly because of her ulcer.After Annie leaves, Caitlin suggests that her parents drive to Carmel instead.They try to go upstairs to begin packing, but Caitlin stops them.Eventually, Caitlin cannot stop them anymore and they go upstairs to find Cole with a briefcase in the bedroom.Gregory catches Cole with a briefcase that looks like the one that contains the Deschanel jewels. However, Cole opens it and reveals that it contains Cole's dirty laundry.Caitlin tells Gregory the entire truth about the "theft lessons" and the briefcase switch, but he's skeptical.He is also surprised when Cole says that he has no interest in the jewels.Caitlin suggests that her mother tell Gregory about the baby while they're on vacation in Carmel, but Olivia swears her daughter to secrecy.Caitlin asks Cole about his HIV status, and he assures her that he's been tested and that he's HIV negative.He tells her that he wants to have children with her, once she's finished with college and he has a job.

Caitlin gets a phone call telling her that she's pregnant.When Cole is excited about all of the adventures that he and she will have together, Caitlin hesitates to tell him that she's pregnant.Caitlin tells Cole that she's pregnant. At first, she fears that he's angry, but he's really delighted.Cole proposes to Caitlin.Caitlin rejects Cole's proposal, but consents to wear the engagement ring he offered her on a chain around her neck.Cole accuses Olivia of causing Caitlin to refuse his proposal. Caitlin becomes jealous of Cole's relationship with the "other woman."Caitlin figures out that she may already know Cole's "other woman."In an effort to avoid telling him about her own pregnancy, Olivia tells Gregory that Caitlin is pregnant.Olivia makes Gregory promise not to tell Caitlin that he knows that she's regnant.Gregory finds out from Tim, who found out from Caitlin, that Cole has been involved with another woman since coming to Sunset Beach.Gregory tells Olivia that Cole had had an affair with another woman, and Olivia tries to talk him out of trying to discover the "other woman"'s identity. Nevertheless, he hires Eddie to find out the identity of the other woman.Gregory convinces Olivia to tell Caitlin to keep her pregnancy a secret.Gregory has a private conversation with Tyus about Caitlin's, and possibly Olivia's, pregnancy.Gregory tells Olivia to pretend that she's pregnant and later pretend to lose the baby in order to convince Caitlin to give the baby to them.Knowing that Caitlin is eavesdropping, Gregory gives Cole an envelope filled with photos of his former lovers.Gregory takes the first step in his plan to separate Caitlin from her baby -- announcing that Olivia is pregnant.When Cole hears the news about Olivia's pregnancy, he realizes that he might be the father.Gregory, who doesn't realize that Olivia really is pregnant, encourages Bette to write about Olivia's pregnancy in her column.Olivia becomes angry at Bette for including her pregnancy in her gossip column.Bette and Olivia meet at the Seabreeze Motel, where Eddie has bribed one of the desk clerks to release the name of the woman that Cole met at the motel to him, and attempt to change the records on the computer.Sean encourages Caitlin, who has the envelope of photographs that Gregory gave to Cole, to open the envelope and look at the photographs of Cole and his other love interests.Bette and Olivia find out that they were successful at modifying the records at the Seabreeze Motel when Eddie, convinced that Bette is Cole's former lover, gives that information to Gregory. Caitlin becomes angry with Gregory when he suggests that Cole has stolen Olivia's Deschanel necklace.
Cole disappears without a trace and is later seen entering a casino in Monte Carlo.In Monte Carlo, Cole flirts with a woman over the roulette tables.Caitlin looks at the photos of Cole's former lovers.Caitlin finds out that Cole's been seen in Monte Carlo with another woman. When the woman slips a hotel room key to Cole, he accepts.Olivia's amnio tests results come in.Olivia finds out that her baby is healthy but that Tyus was unable to perform the paternity test.Caitlin tells Sean that her faith in Cole has been restored. However, Cole took more jewels than Olivia's Deschanel necklace while in Monte Carlo.Sean contacts Cole's former fiancee, Helena.Gregory puts the second step of his plan into action, telling Caitlin that Olivia is having a high-risk pregnancy and that, consequently, she needs to be sent out of town.Cole blackmails Bette into luring Olivia to the Inn at Sunset Beach so that he can talk to her privately about the paternity of her baby.Caitlin offers to take Olivia to the out-of-town clinic.Caitlin meets with Helena (Cole's former fiancee) and hears a story eerily like her own.Olivia collapses when she finds out that it was Cole, and not Bette, whom she was meeting at the Inn.Olivia and Cole are having a confrontation about the paternity of Olivia's baby when Caitlin and Gregory show up.Olivia, horrified at the thought of Gregory and Caitlin catching her in the hotel room with Cole, hides in the bathroom and escapes out the window.Gregory horrifies Olivia when he tells her that he plans to have Caitlin sedated and, when she awakes, she'll be told that her baby is dead.Olivia offers Cole $200,000 to leave town with Caitlin, which Cole refuses.Olivia interrupts just as Cole is about to tell Caitlin who the other woman was.Olivia tells Caitlin that the other woman was Bette.Caitlin steals the key to the safe deposit box where Cole has stashed his stolen jewels.Caitlin opens Cole's safe deposit box and finds the jewels he stole in Monte Carlo.Caitlin leaves for San Francisco with Olivia.Sean, who can't bring himself to tell Cole what Gregory is planning to do, tells Cole to find Caitlin as quickly as possible.Sean reaches Caitlin by phone, and when she won't believe that Sean's telling the truth about Gregory's plan, Sean plays a tape recording of Gregory talking to the doctor from the clinic in San Francisco.When Caitlin gets into the car and rushes towards Sunset Beach to return to Cole, Olivia leaps gets into the car with her. In her hysteria, Caitlin drives off the embankment just as Cole drives past.Caitlin pulls herself from the car into the bushes and Cole helps Olivia out of the car.Cole is seriously injured while looking for Caitlin, which leads the paramedics to cut short the search for Caitlin in order to airlift Cole and Olivia to the hospital.A man picks Caitlin up and carries her away.Cole finds out that Caitlin has been presumed dead, but due to Olivia's precarious state after the accident, he has to lie to her and say that Caitlin is fine.When Gregory finds out that someone died in the car accident, he assumes that it was Olivia.Olivia and Gregory blame themselves for Caitlin's death.Caitlin tries to escape from the man who rescued her, but she's too weak. When she passes out again, the man unbuttons her sweater, wraps a scarf around her neck, and rebuttons her sweater.Sean blames Gregory and Olivia for Caitlin's death. Regardless, Gregory blames Cole and hires a hitman to kill Cole. Sean and Bette help Cole, who was arrested for assaulting Gregory, escape from jail by having Sean take Cole's place in the cell.Not knowing that Sean has taken Cole's place in the holding cell, Gregory hires a hitman and tells him to kill the man in the holding cell at the Sunset Beach Police Department.Olivia has an emergency medical procedure, which causes her to go into early labor. Tyus tells Bette and Olivia that both possible fathers will need to donate blood in case they aren't able to stop the labor and the baby needs a transfusion when it is born. Caitlin's rescuer brings her safely to the Convent of Saint Anne, but not in time to prevent Caitlin from miscarrying.When Cole goes to give blood for Olivia's baby, he runs into Gregory, who, realizing that he put a contract out on the wrong person, rushes to the Sunset Beach Police Department to stop the hitman.Sean is unconscious when Gregory arrives, and Gregory thinks that the hitman killed him. When Sean regains consciousness, he berates Gregory for his behavior.Eddie sees Cole leaving the hospital and calls the police.Caitlin awakes and finds that she has miscarried.Sean tells Olivia that Gregory had planned to have Cole murdered in the holding cell.Gregory fires Bette when he finds out that Cole had Bette's support in his escape. The police pursue Cole, with Paula and Ricardo at the head of the line trying to convince Cole to give himself up. In mourning for the baby she miscarried, Caitlin asks Sister Beatrice not to contact her family.Caitlin begins to blame herself for the miscarriage, thinking that it was her lack of trust in Cole that caused her to lose her baby.Sean and Ricardo create a roadblock to stop the police pursuing Cole and allow him to escape.Gregory hires another hitman to kill Cole. Cole ditches Bette's car and takes off on foot.Cole and the hitman that Gregory hired get into a physical confrontation. Cole pushes the hitman off a cliff to his death.
Cole finds the convent where Caitlin is staying, but just misses seeing her getting some fresh air outside. Cole and Caitlin are reunited, but Caitlin hesitates to tell him about the miscarriage.
